Are you passionate about surfing on the internet and social media ? Do you love social networks and spend hours online? Then this is the perfect job for you! Digitouch is looking for an experienced, hands-on Social Media innovator who will lead Digitouch’s clients in social media.
Responsibilities:
- Set targets and timelines for social media programs and initiatives.
- Engage with online audiences, ultimately empower others with knowledge to bring positive human change.
- Work with the Editorial and Innovation teams to develop and drive product roadmaps on how to distribute content and engage with social networks by utilizing tools such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs, widgets, etc.
- Manage Digitouch’s corporate accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and other social media outposts.
- Serve as a bridge between traditional communication and audience engagement on the web.
- Develop metrics and performance indicators for analyzing and quantifying the benefit and impact of social media.
- Monitor external blogs, micro-blogs, discussion forums, and social networks discussing client’s competitors
- Stay on the cutting edge of developments in the social media space.
- Manage / find freelance blog writers
- Keep clients informed; ensure reports are on time
- Create project plans and project specification documents
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in online and social media thought leadership (e.g., speaking engagements, publication).
- Strong understanding of social media in relation to the broader media; especially interplay between online media and traditional media.
- Demonstrated willingness to experiment and innovate.
- Understanding of industry best practices, especially as related to large social media organizations.
- Experience working with corporate clients who deploy social media.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Spoken and written fluency in English.
- Deep knowledge of social media tools, including social networking, bookmarking, collaboration, media sharing, dynamics of XML and blog publishing.
- Ability to counsel management on effective use of social media.
