Search Account Manager
Job Summary:
- Assistant Search planners (ASP) are highly supervised by a search planner. The ASP is required to assist in planning, implementing and maintaining of search marketing campaigns. The ASP position is entry level and represents the start of a media career
- This position is essential to the day-to-day running of the search account and requires an individual that works well in a team-based, fast paced, detail-oriented environment. While advanced strategic thinking is not expected, the successful ASP is resourceful and demonstrates the initiative to participate in advanced projects
- The ASP job is training-intensive. Aptitude for learning new skills (both technical and organic) and procedures is essential
Responsibilities
- Responsible for keyword research, campaign set-up, traffic of creative and the pulling/creation of client performance reports
- Assist search planner in development of search strategies and take the lead role in assimilation of proposals and specifications
- Assist search planner in campaign bid management and optimization using tracing and bid management tools
- Interface daily with search engine reps for smooth planning, execution and optimization of campaigns
- Responsible for account record keeping including insertion orders, client authorizations and tracking reports
- Handle client billing responsibilities
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in Search Engine Marketing (Adwords)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Adaptable to change and able to multi-task
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Able to speak and write clearly and persuasively
- Fluent English requires
